UX is an important aspect of our everyday life. Everything around us communicates, expresses and if a user cannot connect, it’s a disaster…
Our day to day life comprises of multiple human-computer interactions. Setting alarm on your mobile, warming up your morning coffee, booking a cab to office and et cetera. We assume little tapping on the digital panel or screen and things are done. That’s true but a lot goes into it. UX is entire experience including aesthetics, functionality and every minute detail.
Between functionality (information architecture) and aesthetics (colors, layouts) we try achieving results. Most of the times we get carried away by the look and feel. Larger picture says – aesthetics needs to marry functionality at a stage where they become inseparable for life.
So talking about satisfaction or happiness in a creative person’s life, thats never going to happen. We strive, literally slog to offer the best. Designer will always think of improvising, adding more and more…. I doubt as creative rationals we would ever be content. On one side we say happiness is a state of mind but we also realise happiness is when the user scrolls smoothly and screen responds in a split second.
Until then stay unhappy…
