Another conference I found myself privileged to be part of as a valuable member was OUTCOME 2019 (Chandigarh). Mr. Vinish Garg is the main organiser of the event. Although I met him for the first time, but with his endless knowledge on UX content and strategy made me feel that I had always bumped into him through his online articles.

UX in India is growing exponentially and that’s the reason I see lot of events that are making a difference to the design as well as to tech world.

Few of the amazing people I met during the conference were Mr. Abhay Vohra (Program Manager UX – Net Solutions Chandigarh, Mr. Rajesh Khurana (Usabilty Lead – Ericsson India) and Mr. Alok Diwan (Creative Manager – Redlizard Studioz, Chandigarh).

Interestingly the topics discussed talked about the ethics in UX and User psychology. It is currently alarming how most of the tech giants play with the subconscious minds of users to meet their business goals. I guess that’s part of the parcel, before installing any app we allow them to access our data. The data that could be abused. That’s again a world which is deeper and dark.

I’m sure few of the UX samaritans are working in this direction and future is brighter and better for the millennials and Gen Alpha.
